Default exhaust

how difficult is it to change driver side cats on 98 cvpi

simple, jus cut the cat out with a saw zaw, replace the cat with clamps and connectors, then take it to a shop to get it welded for like 10 bux

I was meaning more the lines of replacing it.... No shops in my area wants to mess with a no cats job I've tried that was my first option lol

Yea they were more than willing to charge me a million bucks for the job....I was wonder I'd it was more to the job than the 4 bolt that I saw thinking of giving it a try myself

cut the old one off buy two connectors, four clamps and put that sucker back on

It's not that they hate money, but Johnny Law says most cars MUST have the O.E. exhaust equipment, even if it doesn't work. In any state that has an emision test, you MUST have the cats on the car or it fails on the visual inspection, even if the car blows wonderful numbers.

I've checked it out and there is two bolts up near the exhaust manifold and two back down just befor the muffler is it more to the job than that for a direct fit cat
