Wow, this site is great...especially for a non-tech guy like me who drives nothing but Fords.

My son in college has a 2002 F150 and it has been a great truck. He recently had the "check engine/service engine" light come on and called the old man to help...good luck with that. He has a buddy who suggested going to one of the auto parts stores who will put the truck on a "code machine" for free. Well, he did and they did. Codes that came out are PO1151 and PO1131. I checked these on line but have no idea what they mean or what is the next step.

I know there are some fellow Ford people who will probably read this and can help....hoping anyhow. With two kids in college and working my tail off, not a bunch of bucks to throw around and I don't want to get ripped off by a mechanic who knows what he's talking about.

Any help out there?
