I just purchased a 302/340 horse motor from ford. just installed in a 32 highboy roadster with a AOD tranny. I fired the motor up and got it timed and running. After running for alittle while a squealing noise came about. So I pulled the belt off the altnator,water pump and crank pulley. That didnt cure it, so I pulled the pulley of the harmonic balancer and that didnt work. It looks as if the harmonic balancer has alittle wobble. the oring on the balancer has two spots that it is out of the grove. Does any one know what that squealing noise might be from? Also is it ok to use a bronze gear on the distributor with a hydraulic roller camshaft?
