Default Ford Explorer Sport trac 2002 stalling

My question is regarding the stalling we have been experiencing with
our truck, it seems that when ever we do a fuel fill ( and we dont over fill
we stop at the click) we pull away from the service station and the truck
stalls, or sputters, we have tried the heat in the fuel tank in case there
was water in it, and had the fuel filter and pump checked and the problem
still persists, the vehicle is still under warranty and its been in the dealership
several times, everything from the gas cap to portions of the vapour recovery
system have been replaced, yet the problem still persists. Can anyone please
give me some ideas as to what might be the problem and how to fix it.

Thanks,

Susan

There is a vapor management valve that is supposed to control the vapors from the tank to the canister. If you did not buy the vehicle new , then the former owner(s) topped off the tank enough to mess up the whole system. Sometimes it requires the tank itself and the canister and vapor valve to all be replaced. Keep after them to correct this while still under some kind of warranty.
