HELP>>Tension Pulley<<HELP
Replacing a drive belt on my old 94 mazda B2300 (ford ranger).
The tension pulley obviously swivals to the left to release tension, but the one bolt on the front is a Torx head, with just enough room for a ratchet w/ the torx adapter. (wich i don't have)
isloosening thatbolthow you turn that pully?ifnot, thenhow then??? if so, then isthere any other way besides going out and buying yet another tool to fix the darn thing??

RE: HELP>>Tension Pulley<<HELP
Ypu don't actually loosed the bolt up. By placing the rachet w/torx bit in it, you pull the rachet like you're going to loosen the bolt up. However, what happens is you actuall compress the tension spring allowing your to remove/install the belt. Then you just release the tension and let the tensioner fall back into place.
