I just bought a 2000 Ford Explorer with a keyless pad on the driver door. How do I get the code and learn about resetting the code?

 

In the rear of the truck on the drivers side remove the panel below the side window.There will be a square metal box you may need a flash light and mirror to see the numbers on the box.If the code has not been reprogrammed by a dealer the #'s on the box will be your code,if the code has been changed you will have to take the truck to your local dealer to have it retreived.
