OK guys... I need a few HELP items answered (2000 Lincoln LS 3.9L V8)....

#1... My firing order is 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 but which is #1 on the motor... LH or RH and how are the holesnumbered???

#2... Trying to set the DOHC cam timing and I "pin" the flexplate but it looks like both LH and RH pistons are about 3/4" below TDC... is this correct???

#3... Is there ANY possible chance the 8-bolt flexplate was put on wrong (is it even possible?)ornot letting me get it TDC correctly???
