Default Looking to change output shaft seal on gear box

I lookin to help a friend out and change his leaky gear box. Ive never tackled a gear box before and looking for some help. Ive heard that its simple and all that really needs to come off is the pitman arm and the seal is right there?

Welcome to the forums. Wanna help us and tell us what we are working on? Are you going to replace a seal or the entire steering gear? Thanks

Oh yes sorry. Its a 1990 F150. Ive got it all apart now and it is rather simple. I just pressed the pitman arm off, pulled the two bolts out on the top of the box where the output shaft is and tapped on the bottom of the shaft to loosen it and the seal is easily accessable.
