need help, navigator purge valve

need help, navigator purge valve
I was taking off the purge valve in my 2000 lincoln navigator, but it has these two connectors that go from the vacuum hoses to the purge valve nipples. They look like quick disconnects but they aren't, can anyone tell me how to get them off??
