Hello to Everyone - this is my first post. I swapped out my 55 IL6 for what I was told was a IL6 '55 with an early 60's head!? My 55 distributor does not fit (it has a hex opening on the shaft). The "newer" engine has a "slot" type inside the distributor opening. The casting on the block reads EBP 6015 D. I'm trying to find the correct distributor but am running into questions like - "Well, what year is your engine?" Geeez....[IMG][/IMG]

youll need a new distributer if there are fitment issues, thats basically the bottom line
