overheating
 
i have a 96 el falcon is overheating,stopped when i removed the thermostat but did it again when i put a bran new one in. any sugestions?

does your heater blow hot when at operating temp,you may have air trapped causing the over heat problem.

Have you ever had a cooling system flush and new coolant added? If not, the fins on the water pump could be worn off stopping the coolant from circulating.
