Default overheating problem

I have a 1995 Ford Contour that overheats when idling. I have changed the thermostat, high speed relay, engine coolant relay and both sensors in it. I have also had the fan motor unplugged and a wire ran to the battery to check the fan and motor itself. It works in that sense so I know I do not need a new fan or fan motor. I don't have any leaks, either. Now, I am at loss on what else to try. Does anyone have any suggestions?

check and see if you have enough coolant, see if any of the lines are plugged, check your water pump, and see if you have the right mixture of coolant and water. i personally run half and half (half water and half coolant) i just get the premixed stuff from wal mart seems to work fine in my ranger.
