P2106 Code 06 Crown VIc P71
83500 mi on it. Took it out for a test drive after some front end work. Car was doing quite well. Goosed it one more time on a side street and it died. Only way we got it back running again was to remove the air tube off the throttle body. Car would "idle" enough to get it home. Threw codes P0102 (we assume from taking off the air tube) and P2106. We've put a fuel pump on it prior to this.
Supposedly a TSB exists saying to replace the throttle body assembly, but Im also being told P2106 could be a ton of things. This is a flip car, so Id like a few ideas on where to look to versus just throwing parts at it.
Thanks folks!

I do not see any TSB's for either code, If you disconnected the MAF when you removed the air filter to throttle body tube then that would indeed explain P0102.
How good are you at electrical diag? P2106 diag doesnt look to hard to me but that will depend on how good you are at it.
