Default Parts interchangability (302-351w)

hi yall im new to fords and i come from a distant land called oldsmobile. I had aquired a 1977 Mercury Monarch in fantastic origional condition, and i had it for around 3 years and it lost oil pressure and spun a main bearing. I am in the process of changing it over to a 351w, what little about fords i know, i know that all the major windsor engines interchange quite easily and i was wondering what i could reuse, can i use the flexplate/torque converter from the 302 on the 351w? will the oilpan switch over and finally will the exhaust manifolds work the taller deck height of the 351w? oh by the way its a 77' 302 goin out and a pre-smog 72/73 351w crate goin in. (also new/rebiult c4)

Somewhere in the back of my little mind I recall the Monarch and Granada used the Jatco trans. Did yours?

i am not 100% sure, i changed trans oil/filter a while back and the kit was for a C4, and it was the correct part, so i assume its a C4

unless the filters/gasket are the same for both? im more worried about torque converter/engine oil pan/harmonic balancer/ and accesory mounts (power steering/ac(ac not pertinant)/alt./etc
