Default power loss

hi everyone i have a 93 ford probe gt i just got the car recently and it was running good and strong but then i was showing off to my friend and i went to see where the rev limiter was at and when i got to 6500 it felt like i kicked the rev limit but when i hit the gas again after it had no power it didnt want to idle chugging really bad thus so far i changed plugs, wires cap, rotor and fuel filter but nothing changed there are no lights on at all but i had i had it scanned any way and it was clean so i decided to check the timing to see if it jumped and it was perfectly in time so i am at a tottal loss on what it could be if any one has any idea please give it up thanks ps it runs ooook up till about 3000 after that there is no power it wont go over that range

Sounds like you may have done some pretty good work to the inside of your engine.

I bet you broke/chipped a valve, or hole in piston. Not good
