I have a 1987 F-150 Short bed 4x4 that had a power steering gearbox leak. I replaced the gearbox and it works fine. The only problem is that it's like driving a marshmellow. There is no resistance in the steering wheel. You can turn the wheel with a feather. Is there anyway to tighten up the gearbox. I'm new at fixing up old vehicles. Thought it would be fun after retirement. Not as much fun as I thought. I hope the fix is simple. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.
