rear brakes

Default rear brakes

Attempting to change my rear brake pads on a 1993 ford taurus SHO, but they wot release in order for me to get new pads on? any help would be grateful

In saying "rear brake pads" I have to assume you have rear disk brakes and not rear drum breaks. Are you trying to get the caliper piston back into caliper? If so, you have to screw it back into the caliper while applying pressure to seat the piston back into the caliper.
