95 Lincoln Mark VIII. My speakers come on all by themselves. Its like static. then goes off. I unpluged my radio, , no it still does it. its like the speakers just get a flash of static, how do I clip the wires so my phone doesn't work. when I push that button to make the phone come on the intercom it doesn't work. The same way it used to maybe that has something to do with it.

 

Doesn't the amplifier have a fuse in the engine compartment fuse box? Try pulling the fuse and see if the static stops..

 

Hey, did not think of that. I will give it a try. It just might be in there I did not check for that in the manual. Just thought it would be in the regular place.

 

I get the same thing when my cell phone is near my radio. It does it near my alarm clock as well at home. And sometimes on my external laptop speakers. Same sound on all three.
