Sync 3 Navigation System Search

Sync 3 Navigation System Search
I have a 2017 F 350 with the sync 3 navigation system. According to the owner's manual, I should be able to locate a destination point using coordinates. I have tried searching using them but the system never finds the destination. Any suggestions?
