Default Tranny leak

I have a 1995 F150 with the overdrive transmission. It leaks fluid from the front. I have never dealt with these computerized things before. Am about ready to pull the tranny and replace the front (pump) seal. Is there anything I should be especially watchfull for. Or is it just like an older atuomatic without the electronic hook up? Any help will be welcome. Carl. [sm=smiley21.gif]

Default RE: Tranny leak

Ok you have a tranny leak? Is the fluid Redish?, Pretty well 1995 F150 trannys are the same installing and removing, Just make sure when you are working around electrical make sure youre neg post on youre battery is disconnected. Ive seen lots or thing short out. Just the interal parts are mostly run electrical, First I would buy a can of degreaser clean off the tranny, Run the engine for 15-20mins then inspect while engine is running to see where the leak is coming from.

Good Luck
