I read everything i can find, need 2 keys to program own or go to dealer if you only have 1...dealer wants $50 walmart $60 but you get key with it...saw something on using remote starter to help program key if you have only 1.There are several successes with this....
My question is I saw something on resetting master code by inserting key ,turn to run, wait 15 min, repeat 3 times etc. and it would give key new code...wondering if one did that and some point, beginning, middle or end, placed their "second" new blank key around or on the tumbler or column if it would program both keys same time, since the chip just needs to be in vicinity? ....

 

Different years and different models have different systems even though they are PATS.
It would help if you could supply that info.
