Default Turn singnal flasher

Could someone tell me were my turn signal flasher is located on my 2003 Expedition. My signals are acting up, sometimes they flash, skip or do not work at all.

Default RE: Turn singnal flasher

that doesn't sound like a flasher problem, that sounds like a wiring harness problem in the steering column. odd question, does anything else act up, or inconsistently, like the window washer fluid, or the intermittent wipers? one minute they're working, the next day they're not. There's usually a male/female connector up in the column that comes loose with the up/down movement of the tilt columns. I've had this happen to me more then once.
