age has nothing to to with vibration. front rotors can be out of round, bad u joints, tire out of balance warped wheel, bad tranny mount, motor mount .there is always a cause for a vibration Ive even had tires to start vibrating due to internal separation or misalignment of plies

Default Vibration @ 100km/h

Hi, I'm in the ottawa area also and have a 2004 FX4 S-Crew (218K) that "rumbles" or vibrates starting at 100km/h and goes away at 120 ... Even when coasting down from 120 it starts again when ... Which Malmberg Co. location did you visit? You seem to have gotten good service there... Or is driveshaft balancing a common service on trucks?
Thanks for sharing your story. Hope I can get this fixed with not too much cost...

I took it to MALMBERG TRUCK TRAILER EQUIPMENT LTD.
1621 MICHAEL ST.
OTTAWA ON K1B 3T3

Plan on leaving it there for the full day and it's a 1st come 1st served setup....no Appointments...

Thanks! I wonder if they can take care of the "Nobel prize winning" non replaceable u-joint aspect of my drive-shaft...
