hello everyone, I am new here. I tried to register on a mercury forum but the site is being really stupid. it wont even allow me to contact anyone. anyways. this is my situation and I hope someone here can help as the focus is the sister to the mercury Milan I guess. I just bought a 06 Milan with the 4cylinder engine. I pulled codes of p1116,p1288,p1650,p1703,p0171,p2195,p0538,b1884,b1 318.


I know it is possible that all these codes are real but it concerns me that it may just be a loose or corroded wire going to the computer. or one of the sensors is bad causing other sensor failures. at idle the car jumps up and down like it has a 700 lift cam in it and then revs up to like 1500 rmp. it does stall after a little while. while driving it is fine but as soon as I stop it acts up immediately. can someone please help or tell me where to start thanks

Many of the Auto parts stores will do a free code check for you, at least in my area they
do. I'd find one that does and have them do a scan and let them tell you what they see..
