I have a 2011 Fusion with auto headlamps and wiper activated headlamps. With the switch set to auto the head lamps are supposed to come on when the wind shield wipers are activated. Now the head lamps are on all the time, even during the day without using the wipers. The instrument cluster and other interior lights associated with turning your head lamps on at night are not illuminated. This tells me that the light sensor for the auto lights is working and the sensor for the wiper activated headlights is malfunctioning. I forgot to mention that I do not have daytime running lights.
Anyone have any ideas??
