Just a curiousity question. My wife and I are looking at buying a house. One of the houses has a garage with an old ford pick up that looks to be in the early 1930's era that someone started to restore but left it there. It does come with the house. I am trying to get an idea how much one of those would bring in if I sold it as is. Any help would be appreciated?

 

Sounds like a great project! j/k sort of It depends on the condition of the vehicle. You could try a classic car appraiser or auto insurance appraiser, without seeing pics of the truck in question it is kind of hard to put a guestimate price out there. Awesome condition-keep it! It would be worth enough to pay a good portion of your new mortgage. Barn find condition (meaning rusty, no working engine or none at all). Early stage project vehicle could be worth anywhere from $1500 to $8000. It all depends on condition, what it has or doesn't have.

Post up some pics. Also, just google 1932 ford pickup and see what comes up. A lot of times you'll find others for sale and you can maybe compare conditions to get an idea for a comparable value.

 

Put that bad boy on a trailer and get a booth at the Iola, WI car show and swap meet. Someone will buy it.
