Hello everyone I recently purchased a 1972 ltd with the 429, c6 trans, 9in rear end. I need help identifying the vin number on it. I've tried to look it up but no real answer. Where would I online to run short vin numbers?

 

I never been able to find a source to run the old, shorter VIN's. If you find one let me know.
Are you trying to learn its history or do you want to know the meaning of the specific digits?
