Default 1973 ranchero starting problem

Hi my name is Brandon and i recently changed my ignition coil and now i have a really slow crank. the reason i replaced it was because i accidentally broke the screw were the distributor connects to on the coil and was wondering why i got a really slow crank? So if anyone can help i would really appreciate it.
