Default 1991 Mustang

While driving, the voltmeter drops 2 to 3 volts every 45 seconds or so with nothing running but the fuel pump. I have checked the battery, alternator and regulator numerous grounds still cannot find anything. Any suggestions out there. Thanks

You need to provide more information as your description is very vague. If there was actually a charging problem, you would have needed a jump start or a battery charge by now. Could be even a faulty gauge.

Your right I was too vague. I have narrowed it down to the wipers. I unplug the connectors to the wipers and no drop in voltage. Wiper motor is good, switch is good so I thought it was in the interval governor module. Unplugged that problem still exists. I know it sounds like a bad ground but cannot locate that. Thanks for any help.

If you want you could make a new ground wire.

Thanks, I tried grounding the case directly to the negative terminal and had the same result. Thanks for the advice though.
