2001 explorer vs 95 explorer
I can't say whether or not the equip will bolt up, but I would be pretty sure the engine will not start up.
95 was a transition year and could be OBDI whereas the 01 is OBDII. You never know with these things, but I would suggest a little more research before starting something that could become a money pit. As always , second and third opinions never hurt.

You will need to install all the obdII harnesses , computer etc. . This can be a lot of work and if you overlook only one item your vehicle is not really able to presently handle the new system. I won't say it can't be done, but it will involve a lot of work you may not be familiar with. Get other opinions hopefully from someone that has done a job like this.
