I have an 02 e 250 cargo van that eversince I bought it used last year, never gave me problems except gas. The other day, I parked on a parking lot to call someone, shut the engine down and when I try to start it again, it was like completely dead. No clicks, no cluster indicators, it was like the battery has been taken out. Called my wife to get it jumpstarted, it cranked very weak and died again. Couldnkt get it jumpstarted. Called a tow truck and the driver decided to jumpstart it with his truck and it started. The radio was humming even in off position, the instrument cluster has light but all gauges are dead, even the odometer is not running. I decided to shut it down when I got home, dead again, same thing. Tried to look for a short but no luck except for one blown 10 a bay fuse box. Charged the battery and now the instrument cluster indicators are on even without a key. Repleced the fuse and jumpstarted it, it runs but doesnt shut down even when you remove the key. I removed the fuse I installed and the engine died. And wouldnt start again without jumpstarting. What is going on with this thing? Please help.
