Fix the misfire/alternator problem. The RFI is what's causing the problems

Sorry, RFI means Radio Frequency Interference. It is caused as a byproduct of incomplete or ineffective spark or alternator problems. It creates energy (in the form of a radio wave) and will affect many systems differently. Usually, when the dash exhibits these kind of non- generalized problems, it's either something else or the cluster, wiring, whatever. In this case, start w/the check engine light, see if there is a specific misfire or other major problem, and fix that first. If all goes well, the problems will go away. If not, then there is a major problem with the cluster or wiring.
