Default 2007 Ford F150 Transmission swap issues.

So I have a question that I haven't been able to find a answer to so far. I bought this truck a few months ago "2007 ford f150 4x4 4.6", knowing the transmission wasn't long for life. Well that time has come. I previously had a 2003 ford f150 and when the motor died, I pulled the transmission and transfer case for future use. Well I pulled the trans today and popped the 03 up in place, and started plugging it all in. I got to the driver's side and noticed I have a extra plug dangling above the range select sensor, so I looked at the junk transmission and sure enough there's a sensor right above the range select sensor, that is non existent on the now installed transmission. Am I completely screwed orrrr is there a way around this or what? I'm really hoping I don't have to yank this trans back out and dump a bunch of money into another one over a sensor 😭😭😭

Transmissions by year.
2003 4R100 or 4R70W.
2007 4R70E or 4R75E.

If you know what model each transmission is I can check electrical diagrams. There should be a label on each transmission with the info on it.
So I am clear the 2007 transmission has a sensor the 2003 transmission does not have and there is no extra sensor somewhere else on the 2003 transmission.

Ok so the 2007 is a 4R75W and 2003 is a 4R70W.
Looking at the wiring diagrams the 2003 4R70W only has a output shaft sensor, where the 2007 4R75W has both turbine(input) and output shaft sensors.
Ford revised how wiring diagrams are draw between this period so I cannot truly compare them side by side but they do seem to have other electrical differences.
Also if I understand correctly the 4R75W has drastically more teeth then the 4R70W for the output shaft sensor to read making it much more accurate, of course this means that with a PCM programmed for a 4R75W will not know what speed a 4R70W is turning at.
