I just purchased a 2011 Ford Escape. The day after I brought it home from the dealership there was a dark stain on the seat. Does anyone have this same issue with the Ford upholstery?

 

Who would think to review seat covering before you buy a car nowadays. With all the advances in materials etc., however, Ford struck out on this one. I have a 2009 Ford Escape (purchased used) and cannot clean that grey mystery material. I have review after review of the same difficulty in cleaning the material. Even water causes a stain. Others have not had success with dealers or coroporate headquarters. It was a surprise to me as the vehicle is so nice. The seats should be recalled.
