Angry 2012 Ford Raptor

Love the vehicle to death. Have 80,000 miles on it. Done fun off-roading and a lot of hunting and fishing.

One interesting thing happened. Was getting 15+ mpg going up and down mountains from 4200 ft to 7700 ft and back daily.

Moved to approx. 3000 ft and mileage has dropped to 13 mpg.

Dealer says vehicle is all computerized so there is nothing they can do to get the mpg back where it was.

Is that for real?

Vehicle computers are like babies. They're always learning. Since oxygen density is different at 3,000 Ft verses the vehicles previous environment, If not already done, I would disconnect the positive cable from the battery post. Then touch the positive cable to the negative cable. This will dissipate any lingering voltage in the system. Then reconnect the battery and let the vehicle re-learn its new environment and your new driving habits.
