Just replaced therad on a 1993 Mercury Sable sedan, filled with fluid and wanted to start the car, cranks but no fire. Can not hear the fuel pump priming either.I have checked all wiring in the area of the rad, have also checked all fuses and all is good. Any helpwould be much appreciated.

Maybe its a dumb question, but have you checked the fuel filter?
