94 explorer 4 litre problems
Hi al: Kinda been lurking but have said little. Anyway, today my 4 litre blew, probably. a head gasket. It's blowing into the rad. Now, in your opinion, do you think I can get away with a head gasket etc.... or? If not the head gasket, what do you suspect? It has about 200 k miles (355 km). I can get a 170 km (100K miles) motor for about $700. If I do think about replacing the motor, should I remove the front end metal to make things more accessible. What do you suggest? I do like the expl. for what I use it around here. Anyway, any and all suggestions useful. BTW, I may not answer right a way as I am out of town freguently. Wayne.
