New Member. and needing some ideas. Stepdaughter went off to collage and left her 95 escort 4dr /auto.
I use it as a daily driver but noticed it can't get out of it's own way!
I've removed some of the air cleaner items..like the lower "sound box" and put a K&N high flow filter on it. Even did an adjustment on the "kick down" linkage which has made some improvement on it as well.
The motor is "tight"...doesn't burn or leak a drop of oil and for a car with 122,000 miles on it (it had 75,000 when I got it for her) I've made sure the oil and tuneup's are on a regular basis.
Here's my question....my son has said that a turbo would "kick it". I feel that Headers, different exhaust, and maybe a performance chip would give it just what I'm looking for. A turbo might blow the whole thing up!!!
This little car has still got ALOT left to it.... So what are my options?

 

I would be careful adding a turbo on a car with that kind of mileage.
