I have a 95 Thunderbird with a 4.6L V8 thats running rough. The check engine light has been on for about 2 months but it has run perfectly fine until a few days ago. I actually thought it was the gas cap, since the engine light went out when i tightened it, but then it came back on a few days later. It starts really rough like its going to bog out then it'll rev up to about 2k and then even out. Yesterday when I was out shopping I got back in the car and as i was pulling out it would barely move and it sputtered down the road like it was going to bog out again, and I couldn't get any acceleration when i pushed the gas. I stopped and shut the car off, then restarted and it ran fine till I got home. Any ideas? Thanks
