Default 96' f250 5.8w

I have a 1996 F250 with the 5.8W 5 speed manual, and know its a clutch problem.
When I push the clutch in it goes straight to the floor and I have to pull it back out with my foot. What is my problem and how do I fix it please?

they started using hydrolic clutches in the early 80's I have a feeling that the slave cylinder ain't working or your clutch disc may have wore out. but, from what you have described is the slave cylinder may gave out and some of those are a real bear to change and then bleed out. let us know when you get it fixed.

Sorry it took so long to reply back, but how hard would it be to fix this myself? Or do i have to bring it to a shop?

if the slave cylinder is inside the bell housing which in that year I believe they are you would be better off taking it to a shop because it requires the tranny to be removed from under the truck

Yes it is inside, but i was underneath my truck a minute ago and i noticed the line leading to the slave cylinder was wet, but not where it conects. I know its false hope cause that if the master is bad the slave is not far behind. Thank you for your help and I will try to keep yall posted!

You could always change them both but with the slave being inside the bell housing you might be better off having it done at a shop that has a good rep. I know it can get really expensive but most will stand behind their work
