I had a quick question. I traded in my old chevy sonic ls, the most base mode for the ecosport, first time I ever owned a Ford.l. The radio (Mylink) had the ability to show videos and pictures from the USB flashdrive. When in motion the screen would go black for safety. My question, How come the sync 3 with a beautiful 8 inch screen can't do this? What is the point of having a large screen and not exploit it? I know there are hacks out there to do this. I was wondering if they will add this feature in future versions.

Welcome to the site..
Being able to view vids etc from the panel where the operator can see, is a safety issue. Id doubt there will be any OE changes to allow it. If on the newer Sync, you have a jailbroke iphone, you could/would be able to add in apps like Youtube and such. All sorts of Apps not currently support by CarPlay. But with that, comes some risk running apps that can corrupt.. Aftermarket, a different ballgame..
