Excursion Door Alarm Removal

Does any one know how to get rid of that irritating door chime when ever the door is open, its killing me. I have a 2001 4x4 Excursion, Please Help!

I called the dealer and they said their wasn't a way to shut it off but I will go through the manual.

Ya its better to go through the owner's manual.The way to shut the noise off will be given there.You can put it off after reading.if the problem still there then do tell.
