Default Ford Crew cabs with 7.3L Diesel

Does anybody here have a Ford Crew Cab Diesel with the 7.3 Diesel engine? If so, what year do you have and how do you like it? I am looking at getting one to haul the toys.

Thanks!

I don't have one, but if I had toys that needed hauling, I'd sure would like one.
I use too work at a shop that sold and repaired RVs and trailers, and thats the truck we started recomending after we had a chance to check it out. Before that is was the Dodge Cummins, but Ford came out with the PowerStrock.

No sorry I haven't turn a wrench in a few years, and haven't been looking for a hauling vehicle. Plus I usually don't ever buy new cars, I always look for good used cars and trucks. The only vehicle I ever bought new was my 2000 Chevy LS pick-up, its great on gas but, it had these little things I didn't like, so I'm back into a Ranger until I buy a bass boat. Then I'll being looking for something to haul it.

I drive a tundra with a V-8 but plan on getting a larger toy hauler and will need more torque. My Tundra hauls my sandrail with 16 foot trailer no problem but a toy hauler is a few pounds heavier!

Tandra are nice trucks, but if your going to be hauling heavies then diesel is the way to go.
I'd go to a RV show and ask those guy what they are useing to haul around those big 5th wheels. Those old guys really know their stuff, LOL.

No doubt...they do know all that and they are generous with their knowledge. WHat is the use of having all the knowledge and keeping it to yourself!
