Thumbs down Ford Escape Gremlin

Hi all,

My name is Amy and I am writing on my behalf of my son who owns a 2017 Ford Escape. He bought it used, and shortly after he bought it he had to have the engine replaced. It’s been working fine since then until a few days ago. Initially it started fine and he was able to move it to a new spot on our driveway, but the next time he tried starting it, everything went bonkers; instruments flashed, and the wipers came on inexplicably. Any ideas what might be going on? Could it be related to the engine replacement?

Thanks!

A loose ground connection can produce problems like this.
