I have a 2006 ford explorer xlt 4.0 v6 that was used to pull someone out of a ditch yesterday and i put it into 4 lo while doing it due to the snow and ice and after that it will not come out of 4 lo i tried everything from backing up and going forward a little bit to just trying to switch to 4 hi and it will not come out of 4 lo my grandson has a ford ranger that used to do the same thing and all he had to do was twist his shift **** a couple times and it would come out of 4 lo. any info or tips would be greatly appreciated.
