Hello All: I'm 66 yrs. of age, been a Ford man my whole life, If a merger happens I'm finished!!!!! Ford means more to me then just a car co. Can anyone ease my mind??

Interesting...

This would create a possible American world wide super power in the automitive world. In my opinion, this would merge the two best motor companies on the planet, both of which could use each others' help. This could potenially boost the American economy in a now international market, especially since each company owns many foreign auto companies.

I, as a Ford lover from day uno, would prefer to see Ford stay separate for may reasons. My pride, the history of Ford, competition in the American market place, and other reasons are certainly included in this.

From what I have seen in the past in other industries, usually a large lay-off is followed by a huge buy-out or merger. In this case, if not Ford and GM possibly Ford and Someone else. I have read articles that say Ford and GM say this isn't happening, but I am not sure about this until I see what the future reveals...

Regardless, FORD FOREVER!!
