I am BoomerGer, new to your neighborhood. I live in So CA. I am currently interested in the new Escape Hybrid. I want the space for hauling stuff and the gas mileage for obvious reasons!! What can anyone tell me about the Escape with RE: towing and handling and amount of weight one can tow with it. I would only do this about once a month and the trailer weighs 650 empty. I might fill it to 1,000 to 1,200 or so. but it is mostly for hauling stuff that is too big for the Escape to handle. Anyone?
