Default Hello!

Hello fellow Ford enthusiast! I joined the forum because first of all Ford trucks always have been my favorite trucks. The models I have owned are a 1972 F100 302 automatic, 1977 F100 with no engine or transmission, which was fitted with a 351M automatic, and I presently own a 1965 F100 which has a 352 standard on the tree. The '65 is a project which I plan to turn into the truck of my dreams with a little help from my new found friends! I thought joining the forum was a great way to find Real help from "those who know"! I followed the forum for a couple years and have found very

useful information, and decided it is time to actually join. Thanks! Here is a picture of my project to stop me from being bored during retirement. I'll be needing a lot of help guys! Thanks!

Well, Welcome aboard !

60-70’s Ford iron was some of the best IMO.
Your project looks like a diamond in the rough! Very cool project..

I almost bought a mid 60’s stepside, but someone had offered full price on the phone just before i got there. I looked at it and it was very complete, unmolested. I offered twice the sale price, but the owner sided with the contact buyer. Rightfully so....

Buddy of mine many years ago had a unibody. Was a resto mod , black beauty. Kinda like the running boards and bed rails. Sexy body styles back then...

Thanks! You know I was gonna get rid of the rails and boards, but since you said that I think i'll keep 'em on. This is another reason i'm glad I joined the forum, good information!

Not something you see all the time.
Do post up some more images when you can, interior, engine bay ect.
And of coarse as you progress....

You know, I just might do that. I anticipate a long process on this project even though i'm not in a hurry. My main problem is lack of parts needed. The availability is really low in this area, and finding them nation wide is really marked up, especially with shipping.
