New here. Both US and Ford Forum. I am doung my PhD here and needed a cheap transportaion...and I found this 1988 Ford Escort on Craigslist and bought it straight away. It only had 34000 original miles on it. Veronica, the lady who owned it took really good care of it since the day she bought it. Drove it only to church and grocery shopping and kept it in her garage. The car was never out in the rain?!?! I got it for a great price and I really love it considering how litlle I spend on it. I named my Ford Veronica after her previous owner hehehe. Anyway I now like it so much that I wanted to become the part of a Ford Community. Safe Driving everyone
