Hello Fordville
Hi, so I am trying to help my dad complete his bucket list. Getting his 1959 Edsel convertable driving. He had "some guy" put disc brakes on it 20 years ago and does not know what these disc brakes came off of.
As I am looking through parts pictures of master cylinders I find a 1968 to 1971 Ford Torino that looks like it. Now brake calipers look close also.
Casting number on caliper is E-279
does that sound right ?
Is there a casting number to part number reference guide ?
Next I will pull rotors to see what casting numbers are on it.
If I am in the wrong fourm, sorry. point me to where I need to go.
Thanks for helping me help my almost 80 year old dad get some enjoyment out of his car.
